Sometimes I wake up from sleep [and fragments and heat] an unbeliever—emerging from depths
stripped [of God] and brittle, terrified [of death-sleep] beyond reasoning—grasping for the Lord
I’ve lost to my subconscious … I steep my brain in the [living] waters when I wake, [get it
marrow deep get it soul tied] pray to never know another moment of death.
